My job as a teacher is to understand who you are. Actually, it's to help you understand who you are. The language you need to tell your story is in YOU. My job is to help you find it.

 

Our classes are a philosophical journey through the life of YOU.

There we will help you build your story. With your unique language.

 

On the other side of the fence, we learn a million words, phrasal verbs, and colloqueial expressions so that we can listen to a million stories and share the experiences of other people.

 

I promise a fun, strange, and beautiful learning experience.

The course is built entirely around YOU and what you need

 

IELTS – We prepare you emotionally to enter the test. Most of the grammar and structure is already done. Our job is to make sure you are the best version of you going into it. Our focus in class is on simulating stress in speaking and live writing – as well as external writing activities that we deconstruct in class to see how you create ideas – and how we can make them more succinct.

 

Conversation – Our class becomes a journey into YOU. Conversation classes focus on free speaking (learning through mirroring and imitation), and here my job is to ask you questions you would have never imagined before, about you and your career. These classes are philosophy and zen heavy. Strange, yes, but fun, challenging, and liberating.

 

Academic English – I work with Masters, Doctoral, and Post-Doctoral students, researchers and professors, sharpening their English to be more succinct in writing their academic articles.

 

Grammar – We deconstruct grammar by using Problem Based Learning. Instead of learning grammar rules, we look at grammar as infrastructure, or paint brushes, that allow us to tell our story in more depth and with greater feel. We want to understand, not what is the rule, but with each bit of grammar, why do we use it, and what are we really trying to say. The grammar classes are super fun. I absolutely love grammar. There is so much incredible philosophy to explore.

 

Business – If you’re focus is to build up negotiation skills, fluent phrasal verbs useage, or confidence in conference calls, job interviews, and negotiations, we will use every resource to give you the tools and the peace of mind in your career,

 

Job Interview – Simulation with behavioural questions. We’ll look at how to speak clearly and how to tell your story more engagingly. We will work on several behavioural questions that will prepare you for your interview with proof of management, crisis management, over-coming stress, and other work scenarios.

Creative Writing - learn how to build stories in a way that is engaging and highlights your disctinct voice. Great for kids of all nationalities (including English natives) in primary scholl and hiigh school to boost their already budding creative drive and skillset. Currently working with native students in Dubai, USA, and Switzerland (all 12 years old).
